Lab PHISTA seeks to apply informatics solutions to address public health challenges of our times. We collaborate with colleagues across Texas and beyond to address emerging areas of importance such as disaster vulnerability, disability informatics, emergency preparedness & response, and the reduction of health disparities. Our lab members participated in two dozen of peer review publications, book chapters, and 30 conference papers/presentations in public health informatics.
